OKsystem supplied smart cards Gemalto. NET for TurboConsult

At the end of February 2010 we successfully implemented our first project for the deployment of Gemalto .NET smart cards along with the administration tool DAS portal in the firm TurboConsult s.r.o. The smart cards Gemalto .NET successfully replaced the unsatisfactory previous solution, and TurboConsult will use them primarily for the authentication of users to the OS and VPN.

The smart cards Gemalto .NET manufactured for the platform .NET Framework for Smart Cards complied with the high demands for the functionality of the customer in the environment Windows. The company Microsoft also participated in the development of the smart cards .NET. These cards thus have native support in all operating systems from Windows Vista and higher, and no middleware need be installed for work with them.

For the administration of smart cards .NET (personalisation of .NET cards , import of certificates, change and unblocking of PIN) the company uses the TurboConsult Device Administration Service (DAS) portal. The DAS portal is a web service operated by the company Gemalto. As a VAR partner of Gemalto, OKsystem has its own DAS portal available, which it offers to all its customers and users of .NET cards.
