OKinfo - Personnel information system

OKinfo is integrated modular application software which covers the entire area of human resources of an organisation from simple administrative tasks up to complex conceptual tasks (wages, personnel administration, personnel management, personnel reporting and controlling). The system deals with the matter comprehensively and utilises the possibilities of new internet/intranet technologies for rapid, simple and safe access to information in the context of the organisation and outside the organisations, for example, by connection with the public information services (database of applicants, database of educational programmes and institutions). The individual modules of the system work above a common database shared by various users. All the changes performed are immediately visible for all users when applying structured access rights. The architecture PIS OKinfo used is of the type client - server. One part of PIS is also a self-service module which uses triple-layer architecture (”thin client”). The access of the clients of this module is implemented via an internet browser. The modules PIS OKinfo use the database server Oracle.
