OKpráce

The basic part of an information system for employment services.

The application software OKpráce from the company OKsystem constitutes the basic part of the information system of employment services (IS ES). This IS is operated and used by the Employment Services Administration of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MLSA) in Prague, at 77 employment offices (EO) and another 163 branches of the employment offices. OKpráce was created to order and is one of the largest information systems in the Czech Republic. The system has been built up gradually since 1993. It consists of a client/server part, which is intended for workers of the employment offices and the MLSA, and of the Portal of the MLSA which is intended for the public.

OKpráce consists of several mutually connected main modules with a common database. Access to activities and data of the system is delegated by rights to the users at the individual modules and in the records of jobseekers by rights of users for record groups of jobseekers. Information is transferred between offices using representation files several times a week. During development use was made of client/server information technology with MS Windows on the client side and Oracle database system on the server side. For modelling of processes use was made of CA AllFusion BPwin, for data modelling CA AllFusion Erwin, as the development environment Gupta Team Developer, for automated testing Rational SQA LoadTest Edition.
