Using the employment pages of the MLSA portal, jobseekers and firms can match up their needs faster. The central database records basic information for citizens concerning the brokering of employment, labour-law advice, retraining, assistance in the case of non-payment from employer, work of foreigners, remedies and private employment intermediaries. The central database of employment offices gathers basic information about vacant positions from employers and information about contributions to employers, employment of citizens with altered working ability and employment of foreigners.

Modern technology

The MLSA portal is built on the application server and portal Oracle. The MLSA application portal works in a multitier architecture. The MLSA servers serves as one of the basic tools of e-government for electronic contact of the citizen with the state. As a result of the online connection with the service EURES via the so-called web service, the MLSA portal no longer serves only the general public of the Czech Republic but also the citizens of the entire European Union.
