Smart cards

In the area of smart cards OKsystem provides consultancy services, analytical and development work and deliveries of entire systems, including the smart cards themselves, terminals and, naturally, full subsequent support. Using our experience is the most effective way to handle smart card technology and maximise the use of their possibilities. We will gladly help you to choose the correct type of smart card (support for cryptography, native or open system, programmable cards), the selection of suitable readers, interfaces, possibilities of personalisation (printing, chip, PIN), integration in operating systems (middleware, cryptographic interface, applets), integration into applications, public key infrastructure, key management of PKI or card management.

On the basis of a concluded contract, in the Czech Republic OKsystem represents the interests of the multinational company Gemalto (created by the merger of the companies Axalto and GemPlus) as the Value Added Reseller, VAR, in the area of cryptographic cards and terminals. OKsystem also offers smart cards of the company Oberthur Card Systems.

Contact-free interface (RF)

Users of smart cards often require identification and memory functions of a smart card using radio communication via a contact-free interface, in particular for access and attendance systems, public transport, canteens and other applications. In addition to dual smart cards (TOP DM GX4, ID-ONE COSMO 64 RSA), the company OKsystem offers the possibility of combining on one card two or even three chips and thus gaining a combination of a cryptographic card with contact interface (ISO7816-3) and contact-free interface Mifare (ISO14443) or HID.

The actual body of the card is made of highly robust polycarbonate with a long lifespan. Using suitable printing technology it is also possible to use a personalised card as an employee identifier.

The card can be personalised using full-colour printing (CMYK),with a graphic motif and personalised data (photograph of employee, first name, surname, card number, position etc.)
