Microsoft Tests- Microsoft Certification Programmes

In our test centre we test all the Microsoft tests provided by the certification authority Prometric.

Overview of selected certifications

Title MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) is the basic level of certification and can be gained relatively easily - one need only pass a valid test. The test for gaining the title MCP is credited during the further increase in qualification, for example to MCITP.

MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) certification is certification of the technological series allowing professionals to concentrate on specific technologies. The holders of MCTS certification are experts in implementation and development, the resolution of difficulties and debugging of applications based on a concrete Microsoft technology.

MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is certification of the professional series evaluating a comprehensive series of skills. It includes the skills necessary for design, project management, operational management and planning. Certification evaluating a more comprehensive scope of skills than MCTS.

MCDP (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) is certification of the professional series intended for application developers. MCDP proves skills in the design, development and deployment of applications. MCDP certification follows on from the less complex MCTS.

Microsoft Certified Master (MCM) certification requires first-class technological knowledge, and certified schooling directly in Microsoft USA and the passing of several tests is required.

MCA (Microsoft Certified Architect) certification is intended for first-class experts in the creation of architecture of information technologies and corporate solutions. Candidates must undergo a strict evaluation by a review board made up of already certified architects.

The title MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) authorises the holder to conduct official training in products of the company Microsoft. In addition to MCSE or MCITP certification,  the MCT must demonstrate teaching and presentation skills and constantly improve their expert and teaching qualifications. This certificate is renewed every year on the basis of the meeting of designated conditions.

The holders of any of the currently recognised older certificates (MCSE, MCSA and MCDST) need not renew their certification. The current certification remains valid for as long as there is a demand for it, and it will continue to be supported by the company Microsoft. For certain certifications there is the possibility of an upgrade.
